Thoughtfully Planned. Beautifully Cultivated.
When I began dreaming about opening my own event planning business in 2018, one word kept finding its way into everything I was reading, watching and listening to: Cultivate.
To cultivate means to prepare, foster growth, improve through labor, and encourage. It perfectly described the intentionality, care and labor of love that go into planning a meaningful event. It felt like a God wink—and Cultivate Event Planning was born.
Creating an unforgettable celebration requires thoughtful preparation, time and careful attention to countless moving parts. We like to say that we have even “planned the planning.” Our team brings the experience, energy and organization needed to make every element work beautifully together—so you can remain present and enjoy what matters most.
From choosing the perfect color palette to navigating family dynamics and making important decisions, Cultivate Event Planning is here to guide, support and encourage you. We help couples and clients throughout the Oklahoma City metro area move forward with confidence and find their yes.
Your event deserves to be thoughtfully prepared, beautifully designed and intentionally cultivated.
Let’s cultivate, together.
Marissa
Owner | Lead Planner
Hi, I’m Marissa—and if you know me, you know I love a good exclamation mark!
I’m so glad you found your way to Cultivate Event Planning. When I started planning Vacation Bible School for my church in 2018, I never imagined it would grow into the business it is today. Over time, I began to recognize event planning as one of God’s true gifts and callings for my life.
Looking back, the signs were always there. I was the child rearranging Grandma’s house and creating seating charts for family road trips. Who knew those little moments would eventually lead me here?
As a third-generation business owner, I feel most fulfilled during the longest event days—serving clients I’ve come to know and care about while bringing every carefully planned detail to life.
When I’m not planning a celebration, you’ll usually find me traveling, enjoying a warm cup, or pot, of black coffee, watching a cheesy movie or cuddling with my 12-year-old Yorkie.
I’m also a 2026 bride, which has given me an entirely new appreciation for just how valuable a wedding coordinator can be! I would love to get to know you, hear your story and help create a wedding day that feels completely your own, because every bride deserves the wedding she has dreamed about!
